Every engine is an air pump: the more air it takes in, the more power it can make. A performance intake opens the way and lets you hear the engine draw breath. It’s one of the most rewarding first steps into tuning.

Air intake for cars

The standard air box and filter are built to be quiet and cheap rather than to flow as much air as possible. A sport filter from BMC or a carbon intake from Eventuri or Armaspeed lets the engine breathe more freely, with a sharper response and a richer induction sound. You can fit it on its own, or pair it with a remap as part of a Stage 2.

Air intake for motorcycles

On a motorcycle, a high-flow BMC filter replaces the original paper element in the standard air box and can be washed and reused. It goes well with a performance exhaust, because an engine that breathes out better also breathes in better. You can fit it on its own, and if you want the full gain, we can also adapt the fuelling.
